ST. REGIS MONARCH BEACH
Spa Gaucin at the St.Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point, CA was in need of an image refresh for their website. Starwood has strict photo guidelines that we would need to adhere to. All spaces must be represented as a guest would experience when entering a room, no embellishments or props, and the lighting would need to closely resemble the natural ambiance of a room. I enlisted the help of two photo assistants and stylist Margaret Daley to attend to the details and keep us on schedule. Margaret and I have worked on several similar shoots over the years and I appreciate her refined sense of place and style. The shoot went smooth and I am thrilled to see the images are now on the St.Regis Monarch Beach and Spa Gaucin websites.

Artistic. Here are three variations from my photo shoot with renowned art historian and museum director Darren Cartwright for USD Magazine. Dr. Cartwright was the director at the San Diego Museum of Art who brought the Annie Leibovitz exhibit to San Diego a few years back. It was fun to speak to him about it during our shoot.
